We collaborate with innovators to scale solutions for the world we need. We provide strategic guidance on markets, growth, and regulations; we build and oversee plans to operationally integrate environmental and social goals including carbon neutral strategies; and we open doors to potential collaborators, strategic partners, and capital.

We collaborate with revolutionary industry leaders to bring vision to reality, to reach science-based targets to rebalance our planetary systems, to deliver on the Sustainable Development Goals and to account for social and environmental wellbeing.
We match assets to what the world needs
We identify material social and environmental drivers to mitigate risks and maximize opportunities
We develop impact collaboratives, building powerful partnerships
We support executive leaders to accelerate impact
We shape advisory boards and identify potential board members to support the integration of social and environmental factors into organizational priorities and results
Public-Private Partnerships: Bridging the gap
Government policies that provide the right signals will unleash private capital and other resources at speed and scale for an equitable, secure, and restorative world. We collaborate with government and multilateral leaders, and public-private partnerships by providing strategy, making new connections, and shaping narratives to engage new partners and inspire the public.
We build collaboratives among governments with businesses and other key stakeholders to align action to accelerate impact

We communicate what matters and why, sharing stories that ripple impact far beyond
FEATURED CLIENTS
Christensen Global is lending our expertise to help our clients to scale climate solutions by guiding net zero strategy, stakeholder engagement and sharing a network deep, wide and strong, we are partners for the decisive decade. From innovators in food systems, building technologies and fin tech to some of the largest organizations in the world, we focus where it matters.
The Planetary Guardians engaged Christensen Global to help to identify leaders who are already deploying solutions that protect and regenerate critical systems to alignment with the Planetary Boundaries. CGS curated the initial Solutions Innovators – farmers, Indigenous scientists, and entrepreneurs – featured at the 2025 Planetary Health Check, demonstrating that while the challenges are urgent, effective solutions are already taking root worldwide.
The featured Solutions Innovators span the globe and address multiple planetary boundaries at once, including Sea F. Briganti, pioneering seaweed-based alternatives to plastic; Dr. Karletta Chief, driving community-led climate resilience; Virgilio Viana, championing Indigenous-led bioeconomies in the Amazon; and Louise Mabulo, empowering Filipino farmers to scale sustainable cacao. Innovation and traditional knowledge converge to restore ecological balance and strengthen livelihoods.
This collaboration builds on a partnership spanning two decades, sparked when the Guardians founding CEO Jean Oelwang and Aimée Christensen connected over shared purpose at Virgin and Google respectively, continuing through their collaborations on The Elders, The B Team, and The Carbon War Room. Now CGS and Planetary Guardians are documenting strategies, connecting innovators with resources, and scaling solutions for planetary health. By connecting innovators to networks, resources, and audiences, the Guardians amplify their impact and accelerate global adoption.
Christensen Global is advising 1st Avenue Capital (1AC) and solar icon Dr. Tom Buttgenbach as he launches 1st Avenue Power (1AP), bringing to market the next generation of solar-based power systems.
Buttgenbach is building on an unmatched track record from his leadership of 8minute Energy and Avantus including 30 GW of solar and 90 GWh of storage developed—enough to power 20 million U.S. homes day and night—as well as over $10 billion in financing and power purchase agreements secured. He deployed the first U.S. solar project to undercut fossil fuels on price and led the development of the first gigawatt scale powerplant for a U.S.-based hyperscaler, which commenced operation in June 2025.
1AP offers a fully integrated power solution, engineered to meet the energy needs of the rapidly growing digital economy and industrial electrification. 1AP deploys dispatchable, cyber-secure, clean power systems in just months. By delivering power systems that generate Hyperfirm™inexpensive clean power, 1AP taps the abundant potential of solar, storage and software systems to liberate energy-constrained businesses and communities around the globe.
Christensen Global provides growth strategy including communication and connections for thought leadership, capital and new business opportunities to accelerate the deployment of 1AP’s power systems to bring least cost, reliable, firm clean power into markets worldwide.
Christensen Global is collaborating with the Mastercard Foundation’s Center for Inclusive Growth to leverage our expertise and network, to conduct research to advance climate-smart inclusive growth for small businesses, particularly those in emerging economies, through greater resilience through climate mitigation and adaptation to climate impacts.
The Mastercard Impact Fund has undertaken research and funded research, convenings and projects at the intersection of climate change and inclusive growth, as climate change adverse impacts are often most acutely felt by those traditionally economically disadvantaged.
Informed by desk research, stakeholder interviews and workshops, Christensen Global produced “Unlocking the Power of Small Businesses to Drive Climate Smart Inclusive Growth,” a gap analysis and blueprint for action to reduce risks and increase opportunities for small businesses in the face of a changing climate. The report received the 2025 Ragan CSR Award for Best Research.
