Finn Russell

Finn Russell is a Christiansen Global Associate and Sun Valley Forum Organizer. He supports communications, marketing, and partnerships across CGS's client portfolio and initiatives. He plays a key role in advancing strategic collaborations through storytelling and targeted outreach, and contributes to the Sun Valley Forum, an annual leadership convening dedicated to accelerating climate solutions and resilience, helping shape its programming and engagement strategy. Finn's background spans organizing, research, and environmental science. As Assistant Canvass Director in Seattle, he built and led a 25-person team on environmental and social issue campaigns, including a PFAS remediation push, developing skills in leadership, donor relations, and philanthropic strategy. As a National Journalism and Freshwater Conservation Fellow with The Freshwater Trust, he shifted into research, conducting a nationwide study on public perceptions of freshwater issues through over 150 interviews. Earlier, as a Conservation Intern with the Wild Salmon Center, he researched eelgrass restoration strategies for salmon conservation, grounding his earlier work in environmental science. A graduate of Colorado College, Finn combines organization and dependability with a genuine passion for climate action, conservation, and effective storytelling.
