The Global Observatory is an initiative that seeks to provide insights around COP15 negotiatons in Copenhagen -- to bring the public in, to involve them in creating a new future and in guiding their governments towards agreement on a roadmap that will prevent dangerous climate change and put the world on a greater course.
The Clean Economy Network is the national advocacy association for the cleantech and green business community. Aimée was a founder of the Network and currently serves as its Board Chair.
Duke Energy provides electric power to more than 11 million people in five states: North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. Duke CEO Jim Rogers was an early and outspoken advocate for climate change legislation. CGS is advising Duke on climate change strategy, including international policy strategy and technology cooperation.
The Philanthropist is a weekly drama on NBC that chronicles a wealthy businessman whose experience in Nigeria during a hurricane turns him into a globetrotting philanthropist. Each episode finds him in another country -- from Myanmar to Kashmir, and Kosovo to Haiti. In conjunction with the program, CGS worked with NBC.com to provide resources that help viewers learn more about the issues covered on the show, the specific organizations they can support, and other ways that they can take action.
At the Fifth Summit of the Americas April 2009, President Obama launched the Energy and Climate Partnership of the Americas (ECPA), a collaborative initiative among the nations of the Western Hemisphere to accelerate clean energy development and deployment, advance energy security, and reduce energy poverty by sharing best practices, encouraging investment, and cooperating on technology research, development, and deployment. Christensen Global Strategies is advising the Department of Energy related to the April 15-16, 2010 ECPA Ministerial hosted by Secretary Chu, and engagement of the Private Sector in the ongoing ECPA process.
The Clinton Global Initiative was launched by former President Bill Clinton in 2005 to bring together non-profit, corporate, governmental, and philanthropic leaders to work collaboratively to take on the world's greatest challenges. For the past four years, CGS advised on the climate change, infrastructure, and technology agendas, and worked with participants to develop commitments for announcement at each annual gathering in New York City. CGS also advised on the carbon neutral strategy for the meeting and its attendees, and led the climate and energy portion of CGI University. CGS is currently advising the Technology track and working on the intersection of sustainability topics across other tracks at CGI 2010.
In an effort to join their voices to tackle international challenges, Nelson Mandela, Graça Machel and Desmond Tutu have convened a group of global leaders to find consensus and press for action. CGS is advising The Elders as they consider global environmental challenges.

As the entrepreneurial foundation of the Virgin Group, Virgin Unite works with the Virgin companies and local partners around the world to develop sustainable and scalable solutions to social and environmental problems. CGS worked with Unite to design and implement its Environmental Entrepreneurship Fund which is designing and investing in projects that simultaneously alleviate poverty and protect or enhance the environment. CGS is also helped to conceptualize and structure the Carbon War Room, which was announced by Sir Richard Branson at the UN in February 2008 and formally launched in June 2009.
